Jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer met Geoffrey Ogunlesi, a music manager and co-owner of Sp5der, through a mutual friend in 2022.

Inside Jennifer Meyer and Geoffrey Ogunlesi’s Romantic Beachside Wedding in Hawaii

“Our friend Dorothy set us up, and I have to say, she did a pretty incredible job!” Jen recalls. “Our first unofficial date was at the Sunset Tower Hotel, and what started as a sweet setup turned into something neither of us could have imagined. I had no idea where things would go, but somehow it just kept getting better and better, and somewhere along the way I realized he was someone I never wanted to be without.”

Geoff proposed in August 2024, and Jen was completely surprised. “I thought I was going to Erin Foster’s birthday dinner, but it turned out I was walking into my own engagement celebration,” she remembers. “It was the sweetest, most magical surprise. Then we had our beautiful baby girl, and now we’re married. It’s all happened in the most wonderful way, and honestly, the whole thing still feels like a dream.”

After becoming engaged, the couple turned to celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss and her team to conceptualize and execute their star-studded celebration at the Four Seasons Resort Lana’i in Hawaii.

As for the fashion? “I had just had a baby girl four and a half months before the wedding, so I knew my body would be changing constantly,” Jen explains. “I was in such a happy, blissful baby bubble that I honestly couldn’t wrap my head around wedding dress shopping. I finally called Danielle Frankel just four weeks before the wedding, which is obviously insane, and she immediately said, ‘Don’t worry, I’ve got you.’” Jen asked stylist Thomas Kikis to help her navigate the entire process. “He made everything feel so easy and fun, and somewhere along the way, he became an incredibly special friend,” she says. “I feel so lucky to have found him.”

With her body changing from week to week, Jen continued having fittings with Danielle right up until the wedding. “Danielle created the most beautiful custom gown for me, along with dresses for both of my daughters,” Jen explains. “Seeing my baby girl in her tiny custom Danielle Frankel dress nearly melted me. I absolutely loved my dress, and Danielle and her entire team were a dream.”

For beauty, Jen wanted to feel like herself—just “fresh, glowing, and very Hawaii.” Kara Bua, whom she has known for 25 years, did her makeup, while Jenny Cho styled her hair. “They’re best friends, so the whole experience was relaxed, happy, and so much fun,” Jen says.

When it came to jewelry, Jen kept things simple and sentimental. She wore diamond studs of her own design, along with a JAR diamond necklace and ring that she borrowed from someone she considers a second mother. “She’s been happily married for over 40 years,” Jen says. “And I loved the idea of carrying a little of that beautiful energy into my own marriage.”

Throughout the rest of the weekend, she wore pieces from her namesake collection. “The turquoise earrings I wore at the rehearsal dinner were my favorite,” she says. “They felt so perfect for Hawaii.”

The ceremony took place on the lawn at the Four Seasons on October 10, 2026, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Jen walked down the aisle escorted by her father, Ron Meyer, to meet Geoff, who wore a suit by Brioni for the occasion. “I genuinely felt like I was floating on cloud nine,” Jen remembers. “I had zero jitters, just pure happiness. Having our three children and our parents walk down the aisle made it even more special. And having Tobey, my ex-husband, officiate was so special. A little unconventional, but so perfectly us.”

When the ceremony ended, Jen and Geoff posed for portraits while their guests made their way into the reception tent. “The wedding was so heartfelt, so full of love, and somehow even more magical than I could have imagined,” she adds. “To be in Hawaii, surrounded by the people we love most, marrying the love of my life…I’m still pinching myself. It was perfect in every way.”

Once inside the tent, Jen changed into an Alexander McQueen dress, and the entire celebration turned into one big dance party led by West Coast Music. “There was so much dancing, so much laughter, and just pure joy everywhere you looked,” Jen says. “Having all of our favorite people together on this magical little island, dancing and celebrating with us all night, was beyond anything I could have imagined.”

Reflecting on the weekend now, the couple are still on cloud nine. “We truly had the time of our lives,” Jen says. “I don’t think either of us has ever been happier. By the end of the night, I was in slippers eating chicken fingers, which I think is the ultimate sign of a perfect wedding.”
